History

50 Years + & Counting

1975

Kirkwood Bank & Trust was chartered by the North Dakota Department of Banking and Financial Institutions as the Bank of Kirkwood Plaza.

1981

Bank of Kirkwood Plaza was sold to a Fargo banker and renamed Dakota Bank & Trust Company.

1987

The current owners purchased the bank and renamed it Kirkwood Bank & Trust.

1996

Kirkwood Bank & Trust expands to a new market in Dickinson, ND.

2001

Kirkwood Bank & Trust broke ground on their new headquarters located at 2911 North 14th Street, Bismarck ND.
